WIN: Action-packed crime thriller hits local screens

THIS week, Nu Metro cinemas in KZN bring you the hottest movies and this coming weekend is no exception. Action star Gerard Butler returns to cinemas with his new crime thriller, Copshop.

If you’re a Schalk Bezuidenhout fan, catch him in Kaalgat Karel. Nu Metro will host a special pre-release screening for this hilarious new, home-grown romantic comedy on Sunday in select cinemas.

Here are this week’s new movie releases at Nu Metro in KZN:

Gerard Butler’s action-packed, crime thriller, Copshop (also starring Frank Grillo), arrives in SA today. On the run from a lethal assassin, a wily con artist devises a scheme to hide out inside a small-town police station. When the hitman turns up at the precinct, an unsuspecting rookie cop finds herself caught in the crosshairs.

Nu Metro is hosting special pre-release screenings of the hilarious new local romantic comedy, Kaalgat Karel [Afrikaans with English subtitles], this Sunday (September 19). It tells the story of Karel Venter, a 30-year-old guy who falls head-over-heels for the paramedic, Rita, who saves him after a naked streak gone wrong. But, there’s a problem: she’s a strait-laced single mum who has no interest in his streaking shenanigans. Starring Francois Jacobs, Christia Visser, Schalk Bezuidenhout and Siv Ngesi.

James Bond 007 (Daniel Craig) is back with No Time To Die. He has left active service but gets no rest with a dangerous, new villain on the loose. Tickets are now available to experience all of the action, adventure and super-agent thrills you love from October 1.
