To enter the competition, simply fill in the competition form and click submit.

With the long weekend ahead, Nu Metro cinemas in KZN have planned to bring you the greatest and safest entertainment experience.

The new DC Comics super-villain blockbuster, The Suicide Squad, hits their screens this weekend for an action-packed movie spectacular.

If you missed Disney’s awesome new family adventure, Jungle Cruise, at the special pre-release screenings last weekend – you can catch up on this box office hit in all Nu Metro’s 3D cinemas from Friday. Amplify your cinema experience to the next level in Cornubia, Galleria Mall and Ballito Junction’s larger-than-life Xtreme theatres.

They also have revered director M. Night Shyamalan’s new mystery thriller, Old, in select cinemas. Blackpink The Movie – an exclusive concert-movie experience, only at Nu Metro – will be screened in selected cinemas on Saturday and Sunday (limited showtimes).

Here are this week’s new movie releases at Nu Metro in KZN:

Jungle Cruise (10-12PG)

[Showing at Nu Metro The Pavilion, Cornubia Mall, Galleria Mall and Ballito Junction]

Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt prove that the myth is real in Jungle Cruise – the new fantasy-adventure based on the famous Disneyland theme park ride. Join the adventure of a lifetime in a rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff and intrepid researcher Doctor Lily Houghton – a fun-filled movie for the whole family to enjoy!

The Suicide Squad (16 LV)

[Showing at Nu Metro The Pavilion, Cornubia Mall, Galleria Mall and Ballito Junction]

They’re dying to save the world. Super-villains Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Peacemaker and a collection of nutty cons at Belle Reve prison join the super-secret, super-shady Task Force X as they are dropped off at the remote, enemy-infused island of Corto Maltese. This new superhero blockbuster from DC Comics and director James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), stars Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Sylvester Stallone and Viola Davis. If it’s an action-packed movie filled with twisted comedy and an all-star cast that you’re aiming for, then The Suicide Squad is right on target.

Old (16 HLV)

[Showing at Nu Metro The Pavilion and Ballito Junction]

It’s only a matter of time. A family on a tropical holiday discovers that the secluded beach where they’re relaxing for a few hours is somehow causing them to age rapidly … reducing the rest of their entire lives into a single day. Old, the new mystery thriller from director M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense; Unbreakable; Split), is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat with unbelievable chills and thrills.

Blackpink The Movie (PG)

[Showing at Nu Metro The Pavilion, Cornubia Mall and Galleria Mall]

Nu Metro is proud to present an exclusive concert-movie experience this weekend! Blackpink The Movie celebrates the 5 year-anniversary of this record-breaking all-girl group beloved by fans globally.
