Durban book fair moves to Ballito

This month’s book fair event moves to The Gallery in Ballito for a day-long, jam-packed programme of all things literary.

DURBAN Book Fair presents Rage About the Page at The Gallery, Ballito, on Sunday, 7 March from 10am until 5pm.

This month’s book fair event moves to The Gallery in Ballito for a day-long, jam-packed programme of all things literary.
Presenting authors include 13-year-old Emily Briggeman, Made in Chatsworth’s Kiru Naidoo, photographer Matthew Willman, thespian Hamish Kyd, novelist Kirsten Miller, Natasha Freeman who will speak on the I’m Staying Movement, Travis Gale about cycling 16 000km, poet Sbongiseni Vilakazi and Sarita Mathur.

The Durban Book Fair is a volunteer-driven initiative which aims to promote local writers and a reading culture in Durban.

Sessions are limited to maximum 50 people per session. RSVP to 083 778 1991.
Booksellers from the Street Lit Project will also be selling books at the fair and the public are encouraged to support this initiative.
