Rising stars showcased
At the concert, the cream of the crop, 10 of KZN’s up an coming young performers, come together in an exciting celebration of music.
SOUTH African Society of Music Teachers in collaboration with Friends of Music Association, presents the Durban Rising Stars concert on Sunday, 6 December at Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban, at 3pm.
At the concert, the cream of the crop, 10 of KZN’s up an coming young performers, come together in an exciting celebration of music. The students will perform on a variety of instruments such as piano, trombone, recorder, clarinet and including voice. They will present works from baroque to contemporary, including music from Scarlatti, Beethoven, Castello, Vivaldi, Haydn, Albeniz, Debussy, Aznavour and Kretzmer, Bernstein and Sondheim, Dolly Parton, Foster and Thompson and others.
