Musical revue for Seabrooke’s

It Grows, a musical revue by Simthandile Mtolo, will be at DHS at the weekend.

IT Grows, The Musical will be at Seabrooke’s Theatre, Durban High School, St Thomas Road, Berea, on 3, 4 and 5 December at 7pm.

This is a solo music revue and multi-media art exhibition experience that looks at the complexity of life and love, from an honest and intrinsically personal perspective of a black woman working in the arts. It Grows is created and performed by Durban performer, jewellery maker and visual artist, Simthandile Mtolo.

Mtolo will release music that has been simmering for a very long time – music that she has written over the years, inspired by experience and emotions. Mtolo is a seasoned songstress and multi-disciplined arts practitioner who has been a full-time creative specialist for 15 years. She will also be exhibiting a range of pieces made from wool and printed fabrics. Mtolo will also have her hand made beaded jewellery collection on display.

Tickets are available at Web Tickets at R150.
