Music Imbizo calls on artists

Musicians, curators, filmmakers, public speakers and industry thought leaders are urged to submit applications to participate in the conference, by 1 March.

THE Music Imbizo is calling on talented artists to be part of this year’s showcase.

Musicians, curators, filmmakers, public speakers and industry thought leaders are urged to submit applications to participate in the conference which will be held in Durban, Moses Mabhida Stadium from 26 to 29 August.

In its 12th year, Music Imbizo has established itself as one of the fastest growing music international music business conference and exhibition.

The theme for this year is, “African Unity – The Real Currency.”

Over the years, the conference has had speakers like Joseph Shabalala, founder of Ladysmith Black Mambazo; Seymour Stein, former vice president of Warner Bros. Records and Jess White, Festival Coordinator of the Azgo Festival in Mozambique.
