FRIENDS of Music presents Opera Angels at the Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban, on Tuesday, 11 February at 7.30pm.
The Opera Angels present a showcase of popular opera, musical theatre and contemporary classics. This unique and dynamic duo featuring pianist and soprano Dr Lisa Engelbrecht and mezzo soprano Lindsay Thomson. Having worked together in Cape Town on various opera productions, Lisa and Lindsay created Opera Angels after being approached to appear onboard the prestigious Queen Victoria Ship as their Classical Artists. Since then they have appeared as regular guests at the Mount Nelson Hotel among others and are in great demand throughout South Africa.
