Summer fest beauty title up for grabs
Participants in the Miss/Mr uMhlanga Beauty Pageant can enter before-hand, and on the day itself.
ONE of the highlights of the uMhlanga Summer Festival is the crowning of the winners of the Miss/Mr uMhlanga beauty pageant at noon on Saturday, 21 December at the Millennium Stage, uMhlanga beach.
The Miss / Mr uMhlanga category is one open age group – 16 and older. No children will be competing this year. Participants can enter before-hand, and on the day itself subject to availability.
Registration on the day is from 10.30am until 11.30am, and the event itself will be on stage until 2pm featuring a bevy of the best men and women ambassadors with potential to represent uMhlanga. Ages are taken as of 17 December. Participants are asked to take a picture ID.

Entry is R200 cash and an unwrapped toy. All uMhlanga events support charities who work together with uMhlanga Rotary.
The successful finalists will be crowned on the day. Girls are welcome to wear sarongs with their beach-wear.
