Magic show for Seabrooke’s

A unique magic show will be at Seabrooke's Theatre this December.

A UNIQUE magic show, Mysteries, opens at Seabrooke’s Theatre, DHS, in Durban on 19 December and runs until 22 December.

Created by and starring acclaimed magician Russell Comrie, and directed by former Durban director, academic and magician, Murray McGibbon, this one-man show explores the nature of secrets and how they shape our perception of magic, of reality, and of ourselves.

Mysteries is unlike any other magic show – witty, enchanting, and utterly mystifying, as magician Russell Comrie takes audiences on a magical journey, performing his own take on the classic tricks of yesteryear, lifting the veil on the gambler’s subtle art, and even reading a mind or several (using only willing participants, of course).

Adding to the festive spirit, Distillery 031, Durban’s premier craft spirit distillery, will be on hand before and after the show, serving delicious craft gins and cocktails, with a smattering of non-alcoholic drinks as well, from their beautiful mobile bar.

The show runs for ±75 minutes and is suitable for all ages, although it is not recommended for children under 10 years old, who may find it difficult to follow.

Times are 6pm for 7pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, as well as 2pm for 3pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday.

Cost is R120 or R100 for 10 or more tickets. Book through Quicket.co.za.
