It’s all about girth

The show Bigly Yuge is about girth – but it’s full of mirth.

ASK any plus-size person what life is like at the heavier end of the scale and they’ll tell you some good, some bad, and some funny stories. Now these highs and lows are brought to the stage in Bigly Yuge, an entertaining new comedy which runs in The Playhouse Loft in Durban, between 4 and 15 December.

This new collaboration is the brainchild of award-winning actors, Bongani Mbatha, Mduduzi Nombela and Xolani ‘XD Black’ Dlamini – each with impressive track records in Stage, TV and screen – who have teamed up with crack writer, Clinton Marius, and noted director, Tony Kgorokge, to create a stage comedy that explores what life is like for plus-size people.
