Hills come live with a chorus of choirs

The popular music event provides a platform for more than 700 primary school children from around KwaZulu-Natal to explore their creativity.

KLOOF Rotary, Curro HCA and Durban Preparatory High School (DPHS), will host Festival in the Hills on Friday, 6 September at the CityHill auditorium in Hillcrest at 6pm.

The popular music event provides a platform for more than 700 primary school children from around KwaZulu-Natal to explore their creativity, participating in a day of exciting workshops as well as performing alongside the world class KZN Philharmonic Orchestra and South Africa’s singing ambassadors, the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir in the main event. Other local Durban schools particpating include Sophunga Primary School and Durban Girls’ College,

MC is the popular Darren Maule who adds a touch of humour to the day’s festivities.

All funds raised go directly to the Kloof Rotary Club, who are committed to community service in both Kloof and surrounds, concentrating on disadvantaged areas.

Book at Computicket. Tickets cost R140 each for adults and R90 each for children (under 12). Book for three and pay R120 each.

A pensioners discount is available when booking at Checkers or Shoprite counters.
