Mercury Wine week returns to Greyville

Wine-enthusiasts will get the opportunity to meet and mingle with top wine-makers and sommeliers.

SOUTH Africa’s oldest wine event, the Mercury Wine Week, takes place from 29 to 31 August, at Greyville Convention Centre at Greyville Racecourse.

The event offers wine-lovers a sampling smorgasbord of up to 60 of the country’s leading winemakers from the Cape winelands’ finest red, white, rosé and sparkling wine estates.

Wine-enthusiasts will get the opportunity to meet and mingle with top wine-makers and sommeliers as they outline the secrets to enhancing classic dishes with wine cultivars, taking place daily in the dedicated wine pairing theatre.

Book tickets online from iTickets at R120 or R160 at the door, which includes a tasting glass and unlimited wine tasting.
