Win tickets to Dylan tribute

This young trio will be bringing the crowd as close as possible to experiencing Bob Dylan in his golden age.

RHUMBELOW Theatre, 42 Cunningham Road, Umbilo, presents a Bob Dylan tribute show with musicians Tanner Wareham, Reece Cook and George Ogollo, from Friday, 19 to Sunday, 21 July and Friday, 26 to Sunday, 28 July.

Folk singer-songwriter Bob Dylan is one of the most influential and original artists in American music history well known for using his music to chronicle social and political issues. Bob Dylan has won Grammy, Academy and Golden Globe awards and became the first musician to win a Nobel prize for literature.

Tanner Wareham will be joined by some of Durban’s most talented session musicians Reece Cook (bass) and George Ogollo (drums) who are foremost known for the band Stone Palace but have performed for numerous acts in the Durban scene.

The shows on Friday and Saturday will be at 8pm, with the show at 2pm on Sunday.

Take food picnic baskets. The venue opens 90 minutes before the show. Braais will be available should you wish to cook some meat. Tickets are R150 with R130 concessions. Booking is essential through Computicket or contact Roland on 082 499 8636, roland@stansell.co.za or info@durbantheatre.com.
