Holiday fun at Rhumbelow Theatre

Children can enjoy three theatre productions at Rhumbelow during the school holidays.

RHUMBELOW Theatre Durban in Cunningham Road, Umbilo, will host three children’s theatre shows during the school holidays.

African Fables, with Adi Paxton, will run from Monday, 17 to Saturday, 22 June at 11am.

Adi takes the role of storyteller as she shares three traditional African fables. With a lot of audience participation, puppetry, balloons, a few magic tricks and plenty of fun, each show allows the audience to enjoy these traditional tales to the full.

From Monday, 24 to Saturday, 29 June, Shika Budhoo will perform in Miss Marshmellow’s Rainbow Surprise at 11am.

Miss Marshmellow’s Rainbow Surprise is a fun, funny, funky adventure in which Miss Marshmellow overcomes her fear of thunderstorms.

Double Trouble, A Clown Adventure with Cherry the Clown, aka Adi Paxton, and Dilly, aka Heather Barclay-Whiffin, will run from Monday, 1 to Saturday, 6 July at 11am.

Cherry and Dilly have joined forces in this interactive adventure. In their story the audience helps Cherry to rescue Dilly, with riddles, magic tricks and plenty of fun.

There will be fun colouring in for the kids and a colouring in competition after each show. Snacks and juices will be on sale.
