THE Maswitsi Band will perform at The Jazzy Rainbow on Friday 10 May, from 7pm. R50 gets you in and a free drink for students. Maswitsi (Sesotho for sweets) is a quintet project created by Stanley Matlou and Kgethi Nkotsi.
Maswitsi will present music composed by Kgethi and arranged by both artists for the very first time during this concert. The talented line-up includes Kgethi Nkotsi on
trombone, Leon Scharnick on alto saxophone, Obakeng Thamage on piano, Freeman Gumede on electric bass and Stanley Matlou on drums.
