VOCALIST Thulile Zama will perform at The Jazzy Rainbow on Friday, 26 April, from 7pm. The performance by Zama is part of Concerts SA Venue Circuit’s goal to foster a love and support for live music in communities, as well as anchor small and medium sized venues in urban and rural Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape.
Zama is well known and well-loved on the Durban jazz circuit and her talents have taken her to Hamburg, Berlin and New Orleans. She is the lead vocalist of the successful all female contemporary jazz band, Heels Over Head (best contemporary jazz nominees SAMA – 2011, Yamaha young Artist winners 2010). She has also done a series of Tributes to Mama Africa (Miriam Makeba) since 2017.
