Bassist performs at UKZN

Dalisu Ndlazi will perform at Centre for Jazz and Popular Music.

BASSIST Dalisu Ndlazi will perform at Centre for Jazz and Popular Music on Wednesday, 13 March at 6pm.

Ndlazi’s musical career started at Siyakhula Community Development Centre in Umlazi. He was selected as the Standard Bank Youth Jazz festival band bassist for three years in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and has performed with greats such as Nduduzo Makhathini, Andile Yenana, Sazi Dlamini, Mbuzo Khoza and the late Brian Thusi to name a few.

Join Dalisu Ndlazi, with his band Thabo Skhakhane (trumpet), Mthunzi Mvubu (alto), Sanele Phakathi (piano), Riley Giandari (drums), Njabulo Shabalala (percussions) and special guest Salim Washington (saxophones and flute), Thulisile Fekisi (spoken words) and Nhlakanipho Mkhize (canvas) at The Centre for Jazz and Popular music (CJPM), Level 2, Shepstone Building at UKZN Howard College Campus. Doors open at 5.30pm.
