Go back in time with The Blarney Brothers at the Barn Reunion.
THE Blarney Brothers will host a Barn Reunion at The Hops, Riverside, on Saturday, 22 December from 7pm to 10pm, as well as a big new year’s eve party on 31 December from 9pm to 12.30am.
The Hops is situated in The Riverside Hotel complex, formerly The Athlone Hotel, a suitable place to hold a nostalgic reunion for all the thousands of “jollers” who used to attend The Barn in days gone by.
The Blarney Brothers performed every Wednesday and Friday at The Barn in the old Athlone Hotel for 13 years from 1983 to 1996.
Next year will mark the band’s 45th anniversary of entertaining the South African public, having started performing in Durban way back in 1974.
Tickets for the Barn Reunion are R100 and R150 for the new year’s party.
