The Durban Dance Movement Festival returns to the Playhouse Drama Theatre.
DURBAN Dance Movement Festival celebrates its 6th year with two showcases at the Playhouse Drama Theatre on 14 and 15 September.
By providing a platform for performances in a variety of genres like hip hop, contemporary, ballet, African, bollywood and many other local styles, the dance fest is the highlight on the social calendar of dance productions.

Despite the funding crisis and government cutting funds from art organisations which create sustainability, promotion and access for artists on platforms like these, The Wentworth Arts and Culture Organisation in association with the Playhouse Company and support from the National Arts Council tussled against all odds to host this annual event.
Opening night starts at 7pm and there are two shows at 2pm and 7pm on the Saturday. Tickets can be bought at Computicket. Contact 082 683 9665.
