Femi Koya tour comes to Durban

Koya is touring nationally with his 9-piece Afrobeat ensemble.

AFROBEAT saxophonist Femi Koya recently released his third album entitled Village Afrobeat, and is bringing national tour to Durban. Koya will perform at The Chairman on Saturday and The Jazzy Rainbow on Sunday, 22 July.

Koya is touring nationally with his 9-piece Afrobeat ensemble, comprising of Koya on sax and vocals, Maxwell Baloyi on keyboards, Olusegun Oyedele on talking drum, Peter Adesola on trombone, Karo Ndoite on guitar, Seun Adebari on drums, Felix Arimoro on flugelhorn, Lanre Kununji on trumpet and Gabriel Atabe on bass.

The Chairman is at 146 Mahatma Ghandi Road and the show starts at 11pm, R150 gets you in and bookings can be done at info@thechairmanlive.com / 079 753 6313.
