Musical fusion a must-hear

Guy Buttery and Kanada Narahari bring India even closer to its well established home in South Africa at an performance at KZNSA.

WITH a meeting of two very distinct creative minds united by their mutual curiosity in each other’s diverse musical worlds, Guy Buttery and Kanada Narahari bring India even closer to its well established home in South Africa at an performance at KZNSA, 166 Bulwer Road, Glenwood on Saturday, 23 June.

In production for over six months, the fusing of music from both of these rich and varied musical backgrounds is rooted in Guy and Kanada’s progressive exploration of these worlds, bridging the gap, as well as re-imagining the realms existing between Africa and India.

These two virtuosi’s will be bringing this collaboration to the KZNSA in Durban for a one off show.

Expect high dynamics, delicate African-Indian inflections and virtuoso string playing of an entirely new order.
