US jazz musicians perform at UKZN

This concert is a part of The Unisa Music Foundation in collaboration with the US Embassy.

THE Centre for Jazz and Popular Music presents The South African Jazz Songbook, a series of jazz workshops and concerts, on Friday, 1 June at 7pm.

A top flight ensemble with five high profile US jazz artists including James Ford (trumpet), Bob Ferrazza (guitar), Chris Anderson (trombone), Michael Orenstein (piano), Emma Loring Adomeit (bass) with Karen Devroop (from SA) on saxophone, joined by a local drummer, will entertain the audience.

The Centre for Jazz and Popular music (CJPM) is at Level 2, Shepstone Building at UKZN Howard College Campus. Doors open at 6.30pm.
