An evening of jazz and jokes

The new show will be hosted by comedian and UKZN PhD student, Mo Vawda.

UKZN Centre for Jazz presents the sixth edition of the stylish and trendy jokes and jazz series on 8 May at 6pm.

The new show will be hosted by comedian and UKZN PhD student, Mo Vawda, who is fast becoming a household name for his clean material.

Durban’s funniest upcoming comedians will be in the lineup, including Spencer Govender, Musa Zondi, Sbu Mnyandu, Mangaliso Mhlongo and Q Dube from Zimbabwe.

Badmood, a duo based in Durban will settle the jazz score. Band members are Sphesihle Monareng and Perfect Zuma. Their music is influenced by jazz, pop and rnb.

Guests artists are Levels and Blessing NMC.
