International duo for recital

FRIENDS of Music Association presents a programme of vibrant and expressive works by the brilliant and fiery international clarinet and piano duo Shelley Levy (clarinet) and Pavel Timofeyevsky (piano) on Tuesday, 8 May at Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road at 7.30pm.
Shelley Levy and Pavel Timofeyevsky have been working as a duo and together in ensembles for several years and have a vast repertoire. They have performed in venues such as Wigmore Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Barbican in the UK and the Demetria festival and Sani International festival in Greece, the Gothenburg opera Chamber Music Series Sweden and the Cape Town and Johannesburg Concert series in South Africa.
