Powerhouse vocalist performs at UKZN

Natalie Rungan is taking to the stage at UKZN’S Jazz Centre.

THE Centre for Jazz and Popular Music presents powerhouse vocalist Natalie Rungan in a show entitled Unforgettable, on Wednesday, 18 April at 6pm.

Natalie Rungan, who needs little introduction to local audiences, is taking to the stage at UKZN’S Jazz Centre – the place where she considers her career started. Having built a reputation for almost two decades as a professional singer, arranger, writer and producer, who now has five albums under her belt, Natalie’s velvet voice continues to leave audiences inspired and amazed.

Joined by what can only be described as an “all star band”, Unforgettable is a collection of jazz and pop classics that is bound to get your feet tapping and pull on your heartstrings.

With Neil Gonsalves and Calli Thomson on keyboards, Llewelyn Chetty on bass, Bruce Baker on drums and Mxolisi Mdlalose on saxophone, you really don’t want to miss this show for anything.
