THE 12th India Instyle Shopping Festival returns to Durban at the Sahara Kingsmead Stadium from 30 March to 16 April.

The event promises to be an extravaganza of authentic Indian lifestyle, fashion, culture and cuisine with local and international exhibitors displaying their wares.

The festival has become an annual event that South African and African Indian communities have come to look forward to. It is a lifestyle, food and cultural experience exhibitors boasting the very best in international Indian clothing, cosmetic jewellery, silk carpets, homeware and more.

You’ll find intricately detailed and exquisite saris, perfectly cut and styled Punjabis or even the bridal gown of your dreams. Walk the lanes of “India”, taking in the sights and sounds of true Indian fashions and accessories.

There is something for the whole family. Patrons can enjoy the IPL live on a big screen, while the kids enjoy the free rides available.

Entertainment includes live performances from local Durban artist, Keeran Eshwarlall, Joburg-based, Ryan the Illusionist and all the way from Rajasthan, India, the world-acclaimed, Harish the Magician and folk dancer Isu, flash entertainers and much more.

The festival is open to the public from 11am to 9pm daily (including Easter Weekend). Entry costs R10, but entry gets refunded once a patron has spent R300 or more. Free secure parking available at the venue.
