The way of the cross

THE Durban Catholic Players’ Guild will present the Way of the Cross at Mariannhill Monastery on Palm Sunday, 25 March, at 3pm.

This production enacts the events from the time Jesus was condemned by Pilate until he died and was buried.

As preparation for the Easter celebrations, Christians traditionally meditate on the events leading up to the Resurrection by praying the “Way of the Cross (also called “The Stations of the Cross”).

Actors will perform scenes and the choir from Pinetown Catholic church will lead the singing.

Entrance is free. Contact 083 564 2929 or 084 247 5597.
