Jazz pianist performs in Durban

Pianist and composer Sibusiso Mash Mashiloane will perform at The Chairman.

PROLIFIC pianist and composer Sibusiso Mash Mashiloane will be performing at The Chairman in Durban on Friday 23 March.

Audiences can expect a ground-breaking performance, since Mashiloane is bringing his whole seven-piece band. Joining Mashiloane on keys will be Riley Giandhari on drums, Tlale Makhene on percussion, Dalisu Ndlazi on bass guitar, Zoetheseed on vocals, Thami Mamhlangu on saxophone and Thabo Sikhakhane on trumpet.

“Jazz lovers must be ready to allow their themselves an opportunity to fall in love with jazz again. I believe that music is for everybody to join in, so people must be prepared to dance and sing,” promises Mashiloane.

After his performance in Durban, he will make his way down south to perform at the Cape Town International Jazz Festival on Saturday 24 March.
