Youngsters flock to audition for KickstArt's production of Cinderella.

KICKSTART Theatre is on the hunt for new talent. In addition to finding an adult ensemble for the forthcoming production of Lerner and Loewe’s magical classic musical, Camelot, the company also held additions for an actress to play the title role of Cinderella for this year’s Festive Season pantomime.

KickstArt held open auditions on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 February.

“We were delighted with the calibre of men and women who came forward to showcase their talents. We had 40 budding Cinderellas who auditioned for us! We were spoilt for choice as all the girls were fantastic – it is great to find such an abundance of talent. We will announce our choice of performer to play Cinderella in the near future,” said KickstArt director, Steven Stead.

Kickstart will be staging Camelot: magical musical classic which explores the enchanting and inspiring tales of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre from 18 May to 3 June.
