FRIENDS of Music in collaboration with the South African Society of Music Teachers proudly present Rising Stars, a showcase of outstanding young performers from 2017, on 5 December at Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road at 7.30pm.
Enjoy performances by pianist Tyrell Jordan Pillay, vocalist Lungile Cele, pianist Karla Roloff, flautist Yasha Nair, vocalist Robyn Gillespie, saxophonist Erin Muirhead, and pianist Rachel Wedderburn-Maxwell.
They will perform pieces by Heller, Debussy, Granados, Scarlatti, Sibisi, Holmes, Grieg, Mozart, Poulenc, Bach, Hageman, Weill, Ravel, Mendelssohn and Villa-Lobos.
Tickets are R50 for adults and R20 for students (available at the door).
