Enjoy kids’ Christmas shows

Going Going and Supa Dupa Christmas Pantomime will be at Rhumbelow Theatre this Christmas holiday season.

RHUMBELOW Theatre presents two children’s shows this Christmas holiday season, Going Going and Supa Dupa Christmas Pantomime.

Going Going is be on Tuesday, 5 December at 9.30am and 11.30am. As part of Eden’s Acting for Rhinos Initiative, Eden’s Drama Department have produced this touring Children’s theatre piece.

This delightful show was written by Clinton Marius and directed by Jean van Elden. The performers are students from Grade 8 to 10. All funds go to Project Rhino.

Supa Dupa Christmas is a puppet pantomime by Mim Erasmus and takes place on Wednesday, 6 to Friday, 8 December and Monday, 11 to Friday, 15 December at 10am.

Suzy and Granny are back with a beautiful Christmas eve story. Hear all your favourite Children’s Christmas songs and sing along as Granny talks about Christmas traditions, Santa gets stuck up the chimney, and the Christmas angel reminds us of the love we share.

After the show, Mim will do a workshop with the children on how to make simple Christmas tree decorations.

Snacks and juices will be on sale. Cost is R60 or R50 for a family of four or more.
