Water circus heads for Durban

SPLASH! – The Water Circus is a circus for the modern-age, presenting a variety of all circus genres, but with a unique, visual twist.

SPLASH! – The Water Circus is visiting Durban direct from Russia and will perform at The Big Top at Suncoast Casino from 22 September to 21 October.

Onlookers will gasp as they watch traditional aerial circus acts such as the spectacular Silks all take place above water. Added to the already impressive list of circus acts is the Brazilian Espana family performing their daredevil Wheel of Death and The Russian Swing. In addition to all the circus acts which viewers are accustomed to seeing, the show also has a full team of synchronised swimmers who add to the magic of the performance. Their disciplined and well trained displays are one of the reasons why the show is considered so unique.

This circus is totally free of animals and showcases the extreme talent and capabilities of the human body in an action-packed show presented around the custom-built pool ensuring a truly memorable audience experience.

Performances are Thursdays and Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 11am, 3pm and 7pm, Sundays at 11am and 3pm.

Ticket prices range from R100 to R375 and bookings are through Computicket at www.computicket.com or by calling 0861 915 8000.

The show runs two hours 10 minutes including a 20-minute interval.

No children under two will be allowed into the auditorium and most especially no babes in arms.
