Jam packed weekend at Glenwood
Join in the fun of the Glenwood Cultural Weekend.
GLENWOOD High School has a jam-packed weekend planned from 16 to 19 August as it hosts the Glenwood Cultural Weekend.
Included in the weekend's events is the school play, Glenwood in Motion (Music from the Movies) which runs from 16 to 19 August. Tickets are R50 through the finance office on 031 205 5241.
On 18 August at 2pm, the Glenwood City Trail takes place. Contact Mr Dave Munro on 031 274 4437 for details. On 18 and 19 August Glenwood 7s rugby will see ten U15 teams and 16 U18 teams will compete.
There will be an art and photography competition in the MT Pavilion on 18 August. Contact Mrs Sarie de Beer at the school. Chess enthusiasts can get involved in the chess competition in the Drama studio from 2pm to 5pm on 18 August, by contacting Mr D Sookdeo at the school.
On 19 August there will be a fête from 8am to 1pm. Stalls include second-hand clothing, second-hand books, tombola, white elephant, a tea garden, food stalls, arts and crafts, pot plants, and a kiddies corner. Contact Mrs Charlene Munro on 031 205 5241 or email: munroc@glenwoodhighschool.co.za.
