Durban Chamber Choir to perform
Durban Chamber Choir is in concert in Musgrave this Sunday.
THE Durban Chamber Choir will be in concert on Sunday, 28 May at St Thomas’ Church, Musgrave at 3pm.
The choir will honour the birthday of Claudio Monteverdi, and the works of another great transitional composer, Gabriel Fauré. Featured works under the directorship of Christopher Cockburn, include Monteverdi’s 1650 Mass as well as Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine, and his famous Pavane.
Tickets are R70 per person and student, school pupil and pensioner concessions are R40. School groups are admitted free, and group bookings may be made by prior arrangement with the choir: nicole@NGOLawSA.co.za.
