Slimy weekend fun

uShaka Marine World will be transformed into a green and orange paradise for an unforgettable weekend of epic entertainment and slimy silliness.

THERE will be a celebration of music, stars, Nickelodeon TV characters and – of course – lots of slime, at Nickelodeon’s SlimeFest at uShaka Marine World on 8 and 9 April.

The event will see the marine theme park transformed into a green and orange paradise for an unforgettable weekend of epic entertainment and slimy silliness.

Hosted by Joey Rasdien and Nomzamo Mbatha, SlimeFest 2017 will see children and families flocking to Durban to bask, battle and slither around in glorious green slime, while enjoying singalongs from beloved NickelodeonTV stars SpongeBob Square Pants, Dora and Friends, Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol, and amphibious heroes, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Rounding off each day will be a concert at Wet ‘n’ Wild, kicking off at 3pm, featuring high octane performances from stars such as Cassper Nyovest (8 April) and Mafikizolo (9 April), among others.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a range of slime-related activities and games all day long in the Interactive Slime Zone, while character singalongs start at the Dolphin Aquarium from 9am.
