Jazz, the food of love

Support Highway Hospice's Food of Love jazz afternoon on Sunday.

IF growing a moustache is not your scene in the month of Movember, why not support the male patients of the Highway Hospice by attending the, Food of Love jazz afternoon on 20 November.

The amazing talent of 5th Season, one of Durban’s well-known jazz bands will string a chord to create a relaxed afternoon from 2pm to 6pm. The talented Nick Sbu Engel will feature with some soothing saxophone and all artists will have their CDs available for purchase. “We wanted to create a chilled afternoon for all to enjoy. No real fuss, bring your own food and drinks and kick back to listen to the amazing tunes,” said John’o Olds of Highway Hospice.

There will be a marquee at the Hospice (Locksley Drive, Sherwood) to make sure the weather is no excuse for not supporting. Grab a picnic basket and some good wine, a bunch of mates and book a table. Tables of 10 are available for R1500 and can be booked online at www.highwayhospice.co.za or call John’o on 031 208 6110.
