String quartet performs

The Kayser String Quartet will perform at Durban Music School on Friday.

THE Kayser String Quartet is giving a concert at “The Chapel,” Durban Music School, 21 Diakonia Avenue (St Andrews Street) on Friday 16 September at 7.30pm.

The Quartet is comprises, Géza Kayser on 1st violin, Jitske Brien on 2nd violin, Claire Hamilton on viola and Nigel Fish on cello, are performing an entire programme of string quartet music consisting of Mozart’s quartet KV 387 in G major, Noam Sheriff’s 2nd quartet (Rosendorf) of 1996 and Smetana’s quartet no 1 in e minor (From My Life).

Tickets priced at R80 and R40 for students and pensioners are available at the door.

Access to safe parking is through side entrance of the building.
