Jazz musos perform at UKZN

Sereetsi and the Natives will perform at UKZN's Centre for Jazz and Popular Music as part of the group's local tour.

DON’T miss Seeretsi and the Natives at the Centre for Jazz and Popular Music on Wednesday 31 August at 6pm.

This concert forms part of a tour of South Africa which as the group attempts to grow its footprint internationally.

The tour makes for cultural exchange too as it features musos from four countries – Botswana, US, South Africa and Zimbabwe.

The tour group features Sereetsi on four string guitar and lead vocals, US born Terry Lewis on alto saxophone, young and dynamic Zimbabwean Leroy Nyoni on drums and vocals and the South African well-travelled bassist Thabang Phora.
