Addams Family hilarity at Playhouse
Northcliff High pupils will present their latest offering, The Addams Family 2016, will be at the Playhouse.
POSSIBLY the best offering yet from ground breaking school, Northcliff High, The Addams Family 2016 will be the 18th production to tour to the Playhouse Theatre in as many years.
The show based on the characters created by Charles Addams, will run at the Playhouse Drama Theatre from 28 June to 3 July.
Wednesday Addams has grown up and found love, and her new beau and the prospective in-laws are invited to dinner to meet the disparate Addams clan with hilarious results.
The cast is notably made up of surprisingly young pupils who acquit themselves with maturity and professionalism. Their suitability to their roles is uncanny and their portrayal of this outlandish and bizarre family makes for hilarious entertainment.
The musical is directed and produced by Nick Jordan who has been responsible for the many successful Northcliff productions that have toured to Durban over the years.
