Super SA stars selected to present SAMA’s
Top South African stars were announced as the presenters of the 22nd Annual South African Music Awards, at the Durban ICC on Saturday, 4 June.
SEVEN sensational stars will present the 22nd annual South African Music Awards, #SAMA22 at the ceremony at Durban’s ICC on Saturday, 4 June.
The SAMAs have upped the entertainment factor by announcing Somizi Mhlongo, Thando Thabethe and an array of local showbiz luminaries as presenters for the awards include Phat Joe, Khanyi, Bonang, Pearl and Lunga taking to the stage to toast local talent.
Television and SABC radio personality Somizi Mhlongo and Generations star-turned-5FM radio host Thando Thabethe will occupy centre stage at #SAMA22, providing lively commentary that taps into the excitement of South Africa’s premier music awards show.
Joining them from the #SAMA22 Amstel Green Room will be effervescent film and TV personality Khanyi Mbau and dynamic SABC TV and Metro FM radio host Phat Joe. The pair will be conducting exclusive backstage interviews with all the winners as they step off stage, celebrating Mzansi’s music innovators and trailblazers.
Plus, the scorching trio of Bonang Matheba, Pearl Modiadie and Lunga Shabalala will be working the red carpet on the night, bringing audiences the inside track on the high hopes and low necklines of Mzansi’s favourite music stars.
