Andrew Webster headlines at DHS concert

Old boy performs live at DHS for the first time in 25 years.

FORMER Morningside boy, Andrew Webster will be the headline act for Durban High School’s Rocking Through the Decades concert on Saturday, 4 June from 5.45pm in the DHS hall.

Webster, who is also an Old Boy of DHS (Class of 1990) has been a popular front man in many shows at the Barnyard Theatre and other theatres around the country for almost two decades. Soapie watchers may recognise him from SABC’s Isidingo a few seasons ago. However, his most notable achievement was performing the lead role in the Buddy Holly Show in London. Andrew played the same role at the Playhouse in Durban in the 1990s.

This will be the first time that Andrew will be performing live at DHS since 1991. Tickets cost R80 for adults and R50 for pupils under 18, and R100 at the door. Refreshments and memorabilia will be on sale.
