PIANIST Miki Aoki will perform at the next Friends of Music recital on 5 April at Durban Jewish Centre, 44 KE Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban at 7.30pm.
Aoki is recognised for her diverse abilities as pianist and as a collaborative artist. She made her London Royal Festival Hall debut at the age of 12 and has performed with the National Symphony Orchestra and London Soloist Chamber Orchestra. Her performances have also been broadcast live on radio stations in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the USA.
Prelude performer is 17-year-old singer, Simesihle Nothando Nkosi, who has been studying voice with her music teacher Amina Carini.
Tickets are R80 for members, R100 for visitors and R20 for orchestral members and students.
