CATCH the Johannesburg folk band, Jerry and the Bandits this Sunday, 17 January at Suncoast’s amphitheatre from 2pm as part of their KZN ‘Kiff Bru’ Roadtrip.

Jerry and the Bandits is a folk band inspired by both Mumford and Sons and the Lumineers. They are dedicated to creating a chilled, friendly atmosphere with awesome feel good songs. The band consists of songwriter, lead vocalist and guitarist, Jerard ‘Jerry’ Quaintmere, bass guitarist and kick drummer, Johan van Rooyen, saxophonist, Kirsten Walters, backing vocalist and percussionist, Erika van Rooyen and guitarist, harmonica player and kick drummer, Jason Chadinha.

A fun loving and funky band that engage with their audiences during their performances, Jerry and the Bandits aim to entertain Durbanites with their slow, uptown and jazzy beats. “We cannot wait to rock the coast this weekend. We are really looking forward to jamming some awesome tunes with the Durbanites,” said band leader, Jerard ‘Jerry’ Quaintmere.
