FRIENDS of Music presents duo Raskin and Fleischmann at its next recital on 19 January at Durban Jewish Centre, 44 K E Masinga (Old Fort) Road, Durban at 7.30pm.
Philippe Raskin is a pianist from Brussels, who was awarded several national and international prizes.
As a Chamber musician, Viennese violinist, Johannes Fleischmann, has worked with many well known artists, has performed in Wiener Musikverein, Linz, Santory Hall (Tokyo) and the Flagey in Brussels.
Their programme includes Mozart’s Sonata for piano and Violin in E minor, KV 304, Beethoven’s Sonata for piano and violin No 5 in F major, op. 24 and Strauss’s Sonata for violin and piano in E-flat major, Op. 18.
Prelude performer is vocalist, Tumelo Zondi, with accompanist Amina Carini.
