Get the party started with Platform Jazz
Platform Jazz will entertain audiences with party favourites to ring in the new year.
RHUMBELOW Theatre, Cunningham Avenue, Umbilo, presents Celebration Time with Platform Jazz from Friday 15 January to Sunday 17 January and Friday 22 January to Sunday 24 January.
Listen out for great favourites such as ‘Mac the Knife’, ‘Feeling Good’, ‘Rum and coca cola’, ‘Tequila!’, ‘Here’s to life’ , ‘Let’s fall in love’, ’C’est si bon’ , ‘What a wonderful world’ and ‘Happy’ to name a few. Join Jeff Judge on the sax, Dunc the Hunc on the trombone, Kirsten The Kitten on the clarinet, Melvin Peters on the keys, Andreas on the bass, Bashful Bruce on the drums, Songbird Shelley McLean and Cathy Hotlips Peacock on the trumpet and re-live your own party memories as you celebrate life with Platform Jazz.
Take food picnic baskets. The venue opens 90 minutes before the show for picnic dinner and braais will be available should you wish to cook some meat.
