Rainbow comedy hits this festive season

Catch funny guys Neville Pillay and Masood Boomgaard in the Charous and Bruinous Festive Comedy Festival this weekend and next at Catalina Theatre.

DURBAN audiences will be treated to some festive “funny” when some of the biggest names in local comedy come together for one last hurrah before 2015 comes to a close.

The Charous and Bruinous Festive Comedy Show at Catalina Theatre, Wilson’s Wharf this weekend, 11 and 12 December and next weekend, 18 and 19 December promises to be laugh a minute send off for what was indeed a memorable year. The show features stand up comedians Neville Pillay and Masood Boomgaard along with Kelvin Stoffels, Liam E and guests.

This comedy rewind of 2015 will see the funny guys discuss the biggest news events of the year from Student strikes to Nicki Minaj’s bottom. Also expect festive gags about wives maxing out credit cards, finishing your bonus in a day, drunk relatives at family braais, spending the weekend in jail, the petrol price, relationships and everything in between.

“This has been an epic year, lots of up and downs. Lots of laughter and tears and we’re going to be focusing on the laughter and celebrating through comedy,” said Boomgaard.

“We have some of the best comedians assembled for this festive show so audiences will get a show that they will not forget.”

Charous and Bruinous Festive Comedy Show begins at 8pm. Tickets cost R120 and are available through Computicket and Shoprite.
