Classical virtuoso entertains in Durban

Piano virtuoso repertoire for popular Morningside venue.

A FIRST ever classical recital is coming to the highly popular Jazzy Rainbow, 93 Smiso Nkwanyana (Goble) Road, Morningside, on 16 December at 7pm.

Count Filip Kormuth, who recently had a very successful concert at the Kloof Baptist Church, will be performing a virtuoso repertoire consisting of works by Albeniz, Beethoven, Chopin, Ginastera and Liszt.

Kormuth is a concert pianist, composer and pedagogue, with substantial composition output (including a Symphony), and over 100 performances. Filip has made Kloof his home and is active in creating awareness in the local community about the importance of music education, through local schools, organisations, and his music studio. He is currently a PhD candidate at UNISA.

Tickets can be bought at the door at R100 and will include a free drink. The seating is limited, so arrive early.
