Festive fun at Rhumbelow

Durban actors Marc Kay and Adam Dore will perform in the Rhumbelow's festive family show, Scrooge: A Christmas Carol.

RHUMBELOW Theatre in Cunningham Road, Umbilo, presents the show, Scrooge: A Christmas Carol, with Marc Kay and Adam Dore, from Saturday 12 December to Sunday 10 January.

Adapted for the stage from the classic tale by Charles Dickens, this festive season Rhumbelow Theatre family show captures the very essence of this wonderful story with all the characters from the original story. A heartwarming tale that leads us through one very special Christmas Eve, where Ebenezer Scrooge must confront the ghosts of his past, his present and his future. Only if he changes his miserly ways and learns the true meaning of Christmas will he be able to avoid his fate.

Suitable for all ages. After the show, a short workshop will be held on “basic puppet manipulation” run by the performers, at no extra cost.
