ART was in action at the KZNSA last week when the gallery held a public activation against xenophobic violence at the opening of Sicelo Ziqubu’s exhibition.
The gallery will also be a collection point for much-needed items for victims.
“We will be collecting donations of non-perishable food and toiletry items for the Red Cross to assist refugees in camps. Items needed include bread, soup, disposable diapers, baby formula, hygiene packs, sanitary pads, towels, cardboard boxes and porridge,” said KZNSA’s Russel Hlongwane.
