The Stories Ensemble for UKZN

CARLO Mombelli and The Stories Ensemble will be in Durban as part of an international tour, on Wednesday 1 April at the Centre for Jazz and Popular Music, UKZN, at 5.30pm.

The direct occasion for this tour is that Mombelli’s latest album, Stories, was recorded in Basel, Switzerland with the Ensemble, made up of accomplished Durban-based vocalist Mbuso Khoza, Swiss cellist Daniel Pezzotti, trombonist Adrian Mears and the Berlin/Swiss-based German drummer Dejan Terzic. They will be joined on this tour by the 2014 Standard Bank young artist, pianist Kyle Shepherd.

Tickets are R50 for general admission, R30 for pensioners and R20 for students.
